Summer is here and the time is right for…. bruschetta!
Bruschetta is just like the best, I mean really it is! You can be as creative as you want coming up with new variations to wow your guests at a cocktail hour or even a backyard BBQ. That’s the other thing, bruschetta can also go with anything!
Everyone knows and loves the traditional tomato and olive oilbruschetta that we have surely seen in all Italian restaurants known to man, but have you seen this one yet? Fig, stracciatella cheese, prosciutto crudo and honey!
OK, if you don’t want to take my word for it then go give it a try at your next summer meal!
Ingredients
Baguette
Figs
Prosciutto Crudo
Straciatella Chesse (or any creamy cheese variation)
Honey
Salt
Instructions:
- Cut bread into even half slices
Spread cheese over each piece of bread
Place a half slice or full slice on each piece of bread
Wash, peel, and cut in half fresh figs
Place figs on top of prosciutto
Salt & pepper over top all bread slices
Drizzle honey over each bruschetta.
